UX and conversion strategy
We map user journeys, objections and calls to action before a single screen is designed. Every page is planned around the decision a visitor needs to make.

Web design and development at Zero means planning, designing and building your website around one commercial goal: turning the right visitors into enquiries or sales. We build fast, accessible sites with technical SEO, analytics and GEO (generative engine optimisation) foundations in place from day one, so the site can rank on Google and be understood by AI assistants. Every page has a job, and we measure whether it does it.
Web Design
We map user journeys, objections and calls to action before a single screen is designed. Every page is planned around the decision a visitor needs to make.
Custom interface design that reflects your brand rather than a template. Delivered as a reusable design system so new pages stay consistent.
Built on proven frameworks such as Next.js, or on WordPress, Webflow or Shopify where that suits your team. Clean, maintainable code that you own outright.
Optimised images, lean scripts and efficient hosting so pages load quickly on mobile networks. Every template is tested against Core Web Vitals before launch.
Logical URLs, schema markup, metadata, internal linking and clearly structured, quotable content built in. Migrations include full redirect mapping to protect existing rankings.
Event tracking, consent management and conversion goals configured from launch. Your team gets a CMS they can update without waiting on a developer.
Stakeholder interviews, analytics review and competitor research define goals, audiences and the content each page needs.
Wireframes, then high-fidelity designs and a component library, reviewed with you at each stage before any code is written.
Development, content population, integrations and quality assurance across browsers and devices, with performance and accessibility checks throughout.
A managed go-live with redirects and monitoring, followed by conversion testing and iterative improvements based on real user data.
Most business websites take 6 to 12 weeks from discovery to launch. The main factors are the number of page templates, integrations such as booking or e-commerce, how many languages you need and how quickly content and feedback arrive. We agree a realistic timeline after discovery, before design begins, so both sides know the milestones from the start.
The cost of a new website depends on its scope, so we quote per project rather than from a price list. The biggest factors are the number of unique templates, custom functionality, integrations, copywriting, languages and whether an existing site needs migrating. We send a proposal after a short discovery call, once we understand what the site needs to do for your business.
Choose the platform based on who will update the site and what it needs to do. WordPress and Webflow suit content-led sites run by marketing teams, Shopify suits most online shops, and Next.js suits custom builds where speed and flexibility matter most. Whichever you choose, the code, content and accounts belong to your business, with no lock-in to us.
A redesign only damages rankings when URLs change without redirects or valuable content disappears. Before launch we crawl the current site, map every URL to its new address and keep the content and metadata that already perform. We then monitor Search Console closely, so a redesign becomes a chance to fix technical problems that were holding the site back.
It can help, because AI tools can only cite pages they are able to read and understand, although nobody can guarantee a mention. We build sites that are fast and crawlable, use schema to describe your business, state key facts consistently and allow AI crawlers in robots.txt. The same foundations support Google rankings, so we plan SEO and GEO into the build together.
